“ I spent 23 years in a miserable cycle of addiction. I can remember one particular evening crying out for help to a God that I didn't know or believe in. Through his grace and mercy, he brought me to Dunklin. Within my first month here I began to realize that God was real and that he was powerful. I will never forget sitting in a prayer meeting one night and an invitation to receive Jesus being extended, not really knowing what I was doing, I accepted that invitation and got saved. God has used this place to save me from myself. I believe the Lord used the sociograms and the accountability of my brothers in the dorm to break me of myself, to take me apart and put me back together with a new heart, a new mind and give me a different, new life.
